Oink Sort

Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 November 2026

Oink Sort: Pig Color Puzzle ("Oink Sort", "the game") is made by Minh Nguyen, an independent developer. The game is meant for everyone, including children. This policy explains what the game keeps, what it sends to its game server, and how you can delete it.

In short: no ads for children, no tracking, no chat, no typing. The game never asks for your name, email, photos, contacts or location. Player and team names are picked from a friendly word list. The server keeps only what the leaderboards and teams need, under a random id, and you can delete it from the game at any time.

What stays on your device

Your progress, coins, helpers, album cards, lives and settings are saved on your device. They are not sent anywhere except as described below.

What the game sends to its server

To show leaderboards and let you join a team, the game talks to its own server. It sends:

WhatWhy
A random id the game makes the first time it starts (it is not a device id or advertising id)To recognise your game, so your place on the leaderboard and your team stay yours
Your player name, picked from a word list (for example "Happy Piglet"), and the piggy picture you choseTo show you on the leaderboards and in your team
Your level, stars and number of winsFor the leaderboards
The country set on your device (for example "US"), not your locationFor the local leaderboard
Your team (its name is also picked from a word list), and the lives you ask for or sendFor teams

The server does not receive your real name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, precise or approximate location, or anything you type. There is no chat and no way to send messages. Other players see only your picked name, piggy picture, level and team.

The server is hosted by Cloudflare (Workers and D1), which processes this data on our behalf. The connection is encrypted (HTTPS).

What the game does not do

The game is built with the Unity engine. The engine may send Unity Technologies anonymous technical information about the device (such as its model and operating system version) to keep the engine working well; it contains nothing about who you are. See Unity's privacy policy.

In-app purchases

The current version has no purchases. If coin packs are offered later, Apple handles the payment and never shares your card or Apple Account details with us; the game sends the server only the App Store transaction id, so it can give you what you bought and restore it on a new device.

Children

Oink Sort is designed to be safe for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children: names are picked from a word list, nothing is typed or uploaded, there is no chat, and the random id is used only to run the game's leaderboards and teams. Links that leave the game, and deleting data, sit behind a grown-up check. Parents can delete their child's online data from the game or by email (below).

Keeping and deleting your data

The server keeps your data while you play. To delete it, open Settings › Delete my data in the game: your name, leaderboard place, team membership and lives are removed from the server at once. Your game on the device keeps going and starts a fresh, empty online profile. You can also email us and we will delete it for you. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
